Brother Dunford

Teachings & Doctrines of the Book of Mormon Podcast Class

Course Overview:

I am thrilled to welcome you to a podcast version of Teachings and Doctrines of the Book of Mormon. It is one of the four cornerstone classes that all young single adults are asked to complete. This particular course is designed to help students use a different approach to studying the Book of Mormon: instead of studying the book sequentially (in order); we will study the book topically. The lessons found in this course focus on prominent doctrinal themes emphasized by the inspired authors of the Book of Mormon. We will focus on three main themes:

  1. What the Book of Mormon adds to our understanding of Christ
  2. The Book of Mormon was written for our day and addresses the problems we face today
  3. The plain and precious truths lost from the Bible and restored by the Book of Mormon
